Our History & Mission
Helderberg Chess Club [began] to promote chess as an activity that builds thinking skills, community, and enjoyment. Because we want everyone to benefit, we create a welcoming space for players at all levels to learn, compete, and connect.
Regular Social Events
Every week on Tuesday evenings, we hold sessions focused on development, as well as casual tournaments. These events help players improve while having fun.
Rated Tournaments & Leagues
Our club hosts rated tournaments regularly. In addition, our junior and senior teams actively compete in Western Cape Leagues.
Community & Member Benefits
Members receive discounts on coaching and all HCC-hosted events.
